We based ourselves here for a few days as it is closer to all the sights that we wanted to see .We couldn’t believe how close we were to Israel . I mean we were only meters away from one point on the Jordan river . The view from Mount Nebo is incredible during daylight hours but when we stopped on our way home after sunset and looked across at the twinkling lights of Jerusalem , it was really special .
