Carolina BrewMasters was founded in 1989 by a small group of Charlotte-area enthusiasts who believed great beer is best made by hand and shared among friends. Today CBM has over 100 active members spanning every skill level — from first-time kit brewers to multi-award-winning competitors. Our members brew beer, mead, and cider, and have earned medals at competitions across the country. Over the decades we have built an education-first culture. The best way to become a better brewer is to brew alongside others — which is why meetings and brew sessions are always open to visitors, free of charge.
